Real estate became personal to Denise long before it became her profession. She watched
people she loved lose property, miss opportunities to build wealth, misunderstand important
documents, and make costly decisions because they did not have the knowledge, representation,
or guidance they needed. She saw firsthand how different the outcome can be when one person
understands the process and the other does not.
As an educator, she knew there had to be a better way. Before real estate, she spent nearly
three decades in education and served as a YWCA program director, developing programs for
women, children, and teens. Teaching, advocacy, strategy, and service have been part of her
life for decades. She entered real estate as an investor, trained others to understand rental
property, and built a practice around one belief: people make better real estate decisions
when they truly understand their options.
Today she brings that philosophy to sellers and buyers across the Charleston Tri-County. For
sellers, that means the right pricing and positioning strategy, targeted marketing, and
negotiation from a position of strength, at every price point from roughly $250,000 to more
than $1 million. For buyers, it means clear education on contracts, incentives, timelines,
and decisions before they sign.
The standard of strategy, communication, preparation, and representation stays the same for
every client. She is certified in negotiation, listing strategy, real estate marketing, and
AI-powered marketing, and that combination shows up in the results her clients understand.
Some of her proudest moments have been hearing a first-time buyer say, "I never thought I
would own a home," helping a seller achieve an outcome they were unsure was possible, and
watching a family move into their next chapter because they understood the strategy behind
the decision.
